How it works

   Allow the microphone (optional)

   Tap “Start with microphone” and allow access — your voice and noises will paint the canvas. No mic? Skip straight to step 2.

   Make some noise, or tap and drag

   Louder sounds paint bigger bursts; higher-pitched sounds paint different colors. Without a mic, tap and drag on the canvas instead — faster drags paint bigger bursts.

3. 3

   Save your painting

   Tap “Save PNG” to download the picture your sounds made, then keep it forever and add your kid's voice with a free voice card.

About Sound Painter

Sound Painter turns noise into color right in the browser. When you start the microphone, it listens for how loud and how high-pitched the sound is — louder sounds paint bigger splashes of color, and higher-pitched sounds paint different colors — and uses that to paint bursts on the canvas as your kid talks, sings, claps, or shouts. Don't want to use a microphone? Tap and drag on the canvas instead — it paints the same way, just driven by your finger or mouse instead of sound.

Is my audio private?

Yes. Your microphone audio is analyzed live, in your browser, only to measure its loudness and pitch for painting — it is never recorded, saved, or sent to any server. Nothing is uploaded. Closing the tab (or tapping "Stop listening") turns the microphone off immediately.
